Amazon.com In the comedy Let's Go to Prison, revenge proves not so sweet for John Lyshitski (Dax Shepard, Employee of the Month), an incompetent ex-con who manages to get the son of the judge who first convicted him sent to prison. But John finds that unsatisfying, so he gets himself sent back to prison so he can guarantee that Nelson Biederman the IVth (Will Arnett, Arrested Development) gets the works. From there, Let's Go to Prison squeezes as much uneasy humor out of male rape and white supremacists as is possible. The results could be tasteless, but director Bob Odenkirk (of Mr. Show) gives everything his own particular flavor, which his fans will undoubtedly enjoy. Shepard has an amiable charm and Arnett oozes some of his patented smarmy arrogance. The cast also includes Chi McBride (Roll Bounce), David Koechner (Anchorman), and Dylan Baker (Happiness). --Bret Fetzer

Will Arnett Fan January 7, 2009 I try to add all the Arnett movies to my collection as they become available as I have been a fan of his since Arrested Development. Let's Go To Prison is a good one for those who appreciate this actor/comedian and his genius.
Author of 053803 November 14, 2008 Fantasic Flick! Laughed my tail off from beginning to end. I have some experience with the dept of Corrections, and really understood the humor. I was surprised at how many things they added (toilet cabernet, cell decorations) etc. From the poor publicity I didn't expect much, surprise!! I'd rate this movie 5 stars +, true genious!Let's Go to Prison (Rated & Unrated Versions)053803: Life at Fifteen
Terrific film November 11, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Never heard of this, happened on it. What fun! What a surprise! It is a sheer delight, if you don't mind having fun, laughing, seeing good acting, not slapstick but still in your face in a delicious way at times, go rent/buy this one! Enjoy! (realize this is not a profound critical review and really don't care, it was fun, great time, seen this twice and I'll see it again, purchased some dvds for some friends who are wanting some more laughs in their lives)

I just spent an evening watching this movie, and I laughed from start to finish, and I mean laughed hard. If you liked idocracy, you will like this too, very much. Thanks to the actors, writers and producers.
