You will love this DVD. I got it because Noddy no longer came on PBS where I live, and my son adored Noddy & his car! It was disappointing when we couldn't get it on TV so I bought this. He loved it!

I used to ready the Noddy books when I was little so I decided to introduce Noddy to my son who is over 2. He loves watching Noddy, it's fun and educational, and vey different from the crazy cartoons they churn out these days.

We love the Noddy cartoons we watch on PBS. My nearly 3-year-old daughter is mesmerized by the colorful characters and I don't find the music or voices irritating like other children's programming. Repeat viewing is not a problem until after several consecutive hours!! There is nothing offensive and the creators of the Noddy series try to make it educational. If they don't succeed with education at least the adventures Noddy has usually have a nice moral or lesson to teach.
I was hesitant to buy the DVDs since the descriptions were not clear on what was on them. The titles are misleading. It made me wonder if they were full-length movies. They are just the short cartoon segments of the 30 minute PBS programming and NOT movies (which is what we wanted). We received them (all three currently available) yesterday as a gift so I want to share just what is included and what is not.
This DVD is 62 minutes in length and contains the following episodes: 1.) Catch a Falling Star, 2.) The Great Goblin Switch, 3.) Noddy's Special Treat, 4.) Forgive Me Not and 5.) Noddy's Lucky Day. It also contains several Say It With Noddy segments with Whiz. I'm not a big fan of this section of the Noddy series, but the kids don't mind it. Naomi from the PBS show is NOT present. My daughter likes to immitate her British accent and I think she adds something to the experience since the cartoons don't have accents, so I miss her. I absolutely love the music videos, but this disc contains only the 'Wake Up With Noddy' song. I feel that all the Noddy videos should have been there since they are so short.
Overall we're happy with the disc. We'd recommend it to anyone who watches the series in the US since I can't vouch for the format in other countries you will be taking a risk if you enjoy Noddy from Europe, Austrailia, New Zealand or Canada. A fourth DVD will come out in a couple months and I plan to purchase that one! Eventually all the videos will be present. I anticipate the 4th disc will contain 'The Weather Song'.
