Little House on the Prairie - Season 3 November 25, 2008 I show one episode of this series every Friday night to a group of developmentally disabed friends. They will be happy to see a new season as they have watched Seasons 1 and 2 many times. They love it.
Rich wholesome family goodness. June 7, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I cannot say enough good things about Little House on the Prairie. It encourages good morals while not shying away from the fact that some people don't have them. Whilie seeming like a pipe dream for raising a family, and I believe a fair amount of it can be fairly close to reality. My family finds watching these terrific old episodes very uplifting in a time when sexuality and gore are rampant on even regular television. Maybe we'll just buy all the episodes and cancel television. There's nothing really on anyway!

Awesome family-friendly series... February 26, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Our entire family loves to watch the Little House on the Prairie series. It brings up tons of life lessons that are referenced in the episodes and gives us opportunities to see them in action and to explain them in more depth to our kids. When they see something happen to someone their own age at their own level, it's much easier for them to understand the concept of whatever lesson is being taught. I highly recommend these series for any family!
The Little House Series on DVD January 18, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My now 11 year old daughter has been simply glued to these DVD's since she was 8. She still absolutely loves them. She is always popping one in. They include some fun trivia too. Why I love them too? Besides the fact that I watched them as a child, and always really enjoyed them. I love that they are something truely clean with wonderful morals and lessons, unlike so many of todays shows and movies. I am not saying my daughter doesn't love the Hannah Montana and High School Musicals like most other young girls out there, but I love that she loves these too. The Little House on the Prairie series is simply good wholesome entertainment that just never seems to be "out" of fashion. Here's to many more generations of young girls learning from these great timeless shows!
