This is such a great course, so effective! I'm learning so fast (you can go as fast as you like :)
The book is so easy to read, direct, to the point with lots of great tips and it's all working so well. Within a few days, I can now play with two hands simultaneously. Granted, I took piano for half a semester years and years ago, but I'm learning so much more now in less time than I ever did in that class.
The CD is fun to use. Why? It's your background music, so you feel like you're playing with a band, even from the first lesson. Because of that, it's so much easier to learn rhythm, counting beats, and reading notes.
The DVD included also helps. Now, I'm looking for a continuation to this course. Is there a Keyboard Course from the same makers, one for intermediate students?
***Just in case you like to learn more music theory (very basics) and like to learn it the fun way, I'd recommend Music Ace Deluxe or if you're a little more advanced for that, try Harmonic Vision Music Ace 2

I asked him and he says he's been using it. I especially love that it comes with a dvd and cd so that the learner can listen and even see how things should be done. A perfect compliment to the keyboard he also received as a gift.

I have limited musical knowledge (what I learned in grammar school) and this book helped me regain what I had previously learned and allowed me to build on it at my own speed. Great reference material for a truly beginner.
