PAL is what got and should have recieved NTSC format July 9, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I could not wait to get this set for my son. This is a story we used to say at home and church camp when I was a child and I wanted my son to have the same memories. When the shipment came in I couldn't wait to open. I read the book to my son who is 2 years old and LOVES TV so I thought the DVD would be GREAT. Well, we opened the DVD put in the DVD player and it would not play. AFter looking OVER EVERYTHING WE SAW NOTHING then my husband looked at the disk and there it was. The DVD is in a PAL format (UK ONLY) and not in NTSC format (USA format)so basically the DVD cannot be used. Had this been something that I could been told before the purchase I would have not made the purchase and would have looked for a USA format version. I will be returning this and disappointment my son.
