| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Therapist, physician, and mental coach Dr. Michael Lardon shares what he's discovered about reaching the state in which "thoughts and actions are occurring in complete synchronicity," and how this state is accessible to all, not just the few. Learn how to transform desire into will, channel emotions to victory, trust instincts and keep it simple, conquer fear through acceptance, and perform under pressure. Leading golf instructor David Leadbetter writes in the foreword that professional athletes and weekend warriors alike "will find this book a gem."

The rare truly helpful advice book December 18, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I just finished Dr. Lardons book last night and found it offered real tools that anyone can use to improve their life's activities and their ability to cope with life's inevitable difficulties. I am usually disappointed with "self help" but found this book to contain useful techniques and insights written in a warm and down to earth way.
insightful and practical information December 16, 2008 "Finding Your Zone" certainly hit the right zone with me. As a former athlete and current business executive, I found the insights and suggestions provided by Dr. Lardon to be valuable and quite thought provoking. I also find it most interesting to see how Dr. Lardon was able to go well beyond the simple sports anecdotes that we find in so many books of this type. Instead he expands these stories and applies them to our thinking process in a manner that is understandable and easy reading for the non-docter community. My only real question is when does Dr Lardon's next book come out......I'll be interested to see how he follows up on this excellent first effort.
This was amazing! December 14, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This was a truly amazing, awesome book. Whether you are into sports, health--both or either, you will love this. It is like reading "The Secret," except better, and more specific. Buy this book--and your life will change, as did mine.

ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!! December 9, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I picked this book up in San Diego and read it in one sitting on the plane ride back to the East Coast. I usually sleep on cross country flights, but I could not put this book down. It is a great read, full of inspiring stories and anecdotes.
Dr. Lardon's insight and guidance into how to achieve peak performance in any aspect of life, not just in sports, is worthy our everybody's attention. Having listened to a myriad of motivational speakers over my career and read countless books on the subject, Dr. Lardon's lessons are elegant in their simplicity and applicability to everyday life.
As a former athlete, I felt those days when everything I did was perfect -when I was "in the zone". As a professional, husband and father, the experience is the same, just in a different setting. Finding the zone is an amazing feeling ... being able to experience it on a regular basis escapes most people. This book can help us all to experience it just a little bit more often.
A very worthwhile read!
FANTASTIC! ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS EVER! November 18, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
One of the best books ever. Simple, straight-forward, and extreme effective. A must-read. I wish I had this book as a child playing junior golf. I would have performed much better. It is applicable in golf and applicable in many other activities as well including life in general. Good for 5 year olds as well as 85 year olds. I've read just about every books on peak performance for golf and other subjects, and this is clearly a must-have!
