the twilight zone season 1 October 13, 2007 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
hi! the problem with these remakes of classic shows is the comparision of the old vs. new. if you have never seen(where have you been?)the 1960's version the new set is very very good in some episodes and great in others. either way, for the money, 10-12.00 you cant go wrong. make some popcorn shut the lights and enjoy!
Twilight Zone (1980's, Season 1) April 11, 2007 1 out of 5 found this review helpful
I recorded every episode of this on VHS tape during the 80's when it was first-run. It is OUTSTANDING! It is MUCH, MUCH, MUCH better than the UPN series that aired in 2003 or so...buy this if you are a Twilight Zone fan, and don't be surprised if you like it more than the original series...
Collectors Item...Grab it ! February 23, 2007 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
I did not really care that much for this new updated version of the TZ, but for 43 episodes and Amazon selling it now for ONLY $14.99 i'm sure this set HAS stopped being made and as time goes on it will be harder and harder for people to find and will become a collectors item!!

I'm 54 years young. Some of my more vivid childhood memories are of huddling on the couch at age 5 or 6 and watching things like "One Step Beyond", "The Outer Limits" or Rod Serling on "The Twilight Zone". Little wee B&W TV with rabbit ears. I'll never forget the way those shows made me nervous; when you're a kid it seems like anything is possible. I have a 7 year old daughter now. Our "Twilight Zone" compendium arrived last week and we watched the first few episodes last night. Big Screen, Surround Sound. She sat curled up in my lap. Because, when you're a kid, anything's possible. An Excellent Bargain, too!
